In a strange mood

For some reason yesterday and today I have just been in a funk. I guess that is the word for it. You know that kind of mood where you just don't feel like doing anything and your mind just seems to wonder all day? Anyways I am not really sure why I am like this today but I am. It kinda started Halloween night. We spent a couple hours decorating the front yard with a pirate theme like on trunk or treat. We actually did more. Dave made an awsome grave yard and a toxic waste dump. Then I made little lanturns out of paper bags and lined the driveway with them. It looked really cool. Then we decided that since it wasn't too cold we would sit out on the porch which also would prevent our cat from trying to get out everytime we opened the door. But the thing that bummed me out is hardly anyone came to our house! I could hear kids all over and I even went around the corner to look and saw lots of kids. But I guess our street just too much out of the way. Plus it is the only stree that only has houses on one side. We have a great view of the lake but it gets lonely. Then yesterday I went to get Evelynn a princess costume for next year but the stores were already picked through. I finally found one at Target which was cute but not quite what I wanted. but it was half off so I got it. Later in the day I made jam for the first time which was fun. I think they turned out good, I haven't tried it yet though. But today I am just hanging out. I was going to set up a play group but I just couldn't get myself motivate enough. Anyways, just had to rant a little.
