Glucose test

I was finally able to go do my 3 hour glucose test today thanks to a wonderful friend babysitting Evelynn. I had to do it with Evelynn so I remembered how horrible it was and I was not looking forward to it.

For those of you who don't know what this is, is basically tests for gestational diabetes. Everyone has to do a shorter version of the test and if you don't pass that one, then you have to do the dreaded 3 hour one. You have to fast for 12 hours before hand, drink a special drink and then get your blood drawn every three hours while staying at the lab and not eating.

Anyways right after I drank the drink I started getting sick so they found a room for me to lay down in. Not the most comfortable conditions, it was basically like a dental chair that I reclined, but it was the only option. Thankfully I did not get sick because if you do, they have to stop the test.

Well I just got my results and they are fine!! Yeah for me!!!
