Crazyness

For a couple of weeks I haven't been feeling too well, but it wasn't a cold. Basically I kept having this horrible chest pain that would come and go, but it was so strong I thought it felt like a heart attack. So I went to the doctor a couple of days ago but he wasn't quite sure what it was so he sent some blood off to do tests. Well he called me on friday night and said I needed to go do an ultrasound in the morning because he thought I had gallbladder stones.
So Saturday morning I dropped Evelynn off at a great friends house and headed to the hospital. During the ultrasound the technicion told me that I for sure had stones and she wanted the radiologist to look at it right away. So he looked at it, then called my doctor, who then called the surgen and then called me and told me I needed surgery right away.
I totally started freaking out because I had Michael with me and I didn't have any milk pumped so I had no idea what to do. Thankfully my good friend who had Evelynn insisted on picking Michael up and taking him home. We had some formula that we had recieved but never used so she took that for him.
Dave got to the hospital a little while later because he had been at work. The surgery wasn't for a couple of hours so I slept after they gave me lots of drugs.
I don't remember anything about the surgery because they knocked me out right when I got to the OR and I just woke up back in my room very sore. They had to take my entire gallbladder out because it was very infected, so I was on IV antibiotics for a while and so we had to stay for a long while after but were able to come home last night at 10pm. We had some other great friends who brought us dinner, thank you!
When my parents found out what was going on they hopped in the car and drove right up through the night. It is so great already having them here to help because I am pretty helpless. I can't hardly even hold Michael without being in pain. I also cannot nurse him until later today when all the drugs are out of my system.
So that is my crazy story about my adventure yesterday. It all has happened so fast that I am still in shock!
