Naked Girl!
For the past few weeks I have been potty training Evelynn and it is going great. I would say she is 95% trained, she just has problems when she is out playing and doesn't want to stop to go potty. Anyways, in the beginning of her training we let her run around without pants so it would be easier to get to the potty. Now we cannot get her to keep anything on! She wants to be naked all the time and calls herself a hippo when she is! So my question for all of you is have you dealt with this and do you have any advise for me? I know that part of it comes with her age but it really is a problem especially when people come over. Help me!

All you can do is encourage her. The more you push the issue, the more she'll fight back. Toddlers love reaction! I'd much rather a little naked bum running around than accidents. I think that there's always some kind of power struggle involved with toddlers and potty training. Hang in there. It will get better!
I think Evelynn is the same age as Olivia. We have been training Liv as well. She was doing pretty well. She had been in straight underwear for 2 month but this week she suddenly stopped using the potty. It is like she can't tell when she has to go anymore. I am very frustrated. A little naked "hippo" is kind of funny though. I am sure eventually she will grow out of it. Until then, I guess just keep putting her clothes back on.
Sorry, I don't have a toddler so I don't really have any advice! But I do remember my little siblings went through phases like that, especially in warmer weather, so hopefully it's just a phase? Good luck! PS I'm jealous of Michael's naps! :)
