I just bought this dress BRAND NEW at DI for an amazing deal. With Dave being in the military now I have been told they have formal dinners and such sometimes so I needed a dress. I am going to use the wrap to add sleeves of course. Can you guess how much I paid?

I've been to a military ball before, we did a lot of stand and sit, stand and sit. and there was dancing too. But those were mostly for the young recruits who's parents were also invited. It's interesting to see what people wear, in terms of age groups.
I went to a military ball once, and I had the best time! It was SUCH a fun date! Hmmmmm, I love getting a deal like this. My dress (which was very similar, I sewed sleeves on too!) was DEFINITELY not cheap! So I'm gonna say you spent $10-$25 on it. Am I close? :)
