To try and keep myself busy and occupied while Dave is gone I am trying to come up with sewing projects for the baby. Too bad we aren't have a girl because there are a lot more things to make in that direction. Here are some pictures of ideas I have, not sure if I am going to do get to all of them but I wanted to start thinking. And of course they will all be in boy colors, these are just the pictures I liked. If anyone happens to have a pattern for any of these, let me know!!!

Looks like lots of fun projects! I don't think you'll be disappointed anymore when you see him! :)
I did that exact car seat tutorial, and it was SUPER easy! It just took a very long time because there's a lot of steps to get through. But it will sure pass the time! :) And the tie onesie should be pretty easy; just applique a tie on (the fabric of your choice of course) and stitch around the edges. You can either hand stitch or do a zig zag stitch. I would definitely try it out on a bigger onesie first! I can only do 18 month or bigger, I'm just not that talented with anything smaller. What fun projects!
And oops! I forgot to pass on the website that I go to for lots of free help/reference pictures. Enjoy!

Lindsay,
If you want company on some of those projects, give me a call. I don't know what I am having (find out on Jan. 8). But, lots of those projects can be done for either gender.
makeitandloveit.blogspot.com has a lot of tutorials for super fun projects and it has some for all the projects that you want to make except for the carseat recovery. Where did you find the tutorial?
