My front porch-a work in progress



I decided this year that my front porch needed to be more inviting, plus I wanted to use some of my outdoor decorating ideas! I got this bench from my in-laws, some one had left it at one of their rental houses. It was pretty beat up so I sanded it down and painted it.
Flowers add so much color so for Mother's Day I got flowers to plant instead of a bouquet. I got the idea for the tiered planter online, love it!!!
Now I need some nice pillows for the bench and maybe a little table to go next to it, stay tuned....

Here is the link for the planter. I used plastic pots because they were cheaper and instead of bricks to lift the planter I used an empty paint can. I like to cheat!
