So Dave and I have been wanting to go to the Salt Lake Temple for a long time but something always seems to come up. Also we hadn't found any babysitters in this area yet. So since Dave had the day off yesterday for his interview I planned ahead for us to go afterwards. Had a great friend to watch Evelynn. Then once we found out that Dave got this job, I was even more excited to go to the temple and thank the Lord for this blessing. It was such a wonderful experience just as every temple it. I could not help thinking of all the saints who put so much effort and sacrifice into making this temple. They were so dedicated and knew how important it was to have this temple. I think now a days, many people including myself, take the temple for granite because there are so many and they are so easy to get to. Plus they are so much easier to build with modern technology. Being there yesterday really opened my eyes to that and I never want to be that way again. I know how precious our temples are and there are many people today who still have to sacrifice a lot to attend. I love the temple so much and I want to attend so much more than I do now. I tend to use Evelynn as an excuse why I don't go as often but I know that there are so many people that would be willing to babysit her anytime and I just need to ask. So I promise that I will, so that I may attend the temple and bring those blessings home to my family.
