She loved them all but her favorites were the elephants and giraffes. 
We were able to get pretty close to the giraffes and one leaned down and tried to lick us! They have amazingly long tongues, it scared me the most I think.
We packed our own lunch which was really nice to stop and have a break without paying for it. 
Plus we pregnant women need to eat!
All together it was a wonderful outting and I think we will definately be doing at again!

I heard about the free day at the zoo and it sounded like so much fun, but Nicholette is sick and I decided against it. Also being so little I was a bit nervous as to how she would have done there...I can't wait to go though.
What a great day! So lucky that you had a free day! Woohoo. It probably made it that much better!
