Taxes and a little bragging
I just finished our taxes and I did it completely by myself! I am so proud of myself! I have never done taxes, Dave has. This year we tried out TurboTax and it was so easy. This year was even more complicated because of selling our house and having a baby, etc, but TurboTax totally walks you through everything. I am just so happy! Now we can relax and wait for the money to pour in...I think I see a BBQ in the future....

Isn't it wonderful! We did our federal and we were having major problems with our state because of residency in one and not the other, and having to split credits between the two somehow and extra paperwork...But I got a hold of an old ward member who took our paper work did our state and reviewed our federal and said we missed $1000 that we could have claimed on oue Earned Income Credit. So he put in an Amendment and we're getting it! And My School loans are all paid off. We emptied our savings and took all of our refund and paid it off, now we get an extra grand we weren't expecting! We're SO HAPPY!
I love turbo too! It's the only way I could do it myself! I do like independence! I'm glad you get to see money roll in!
