Surgery Update

Yesterday I had my follow up appointment from my surgery and everything looks great. They took my bandages off and my insisions are healing very well. I will have scars for a while but that is fine with me since I am not a stomach shower. The doctor said that when they took my gallbladder out they could tell that it had been "sick" for years. Apparently it had been flaring up and then getting better for many years and it would have felt like a stomach ache. That explains so much to me because I have always had unexplained stomach aches and pains and now I know why. It is nice to have it all taken care of and now I won't feel so bad all the time.
